Picasa web albums in WordPress
Here’s how to show Picasa web albums in WordPress
- Install the Shashin plug-in (http://wp.siegelslanding.com/wp-admin/plugin-install.php?tab=plugin-information&plugin=shashin&TB_iframe=true&width=600&height=550)
- Once installed, it will prompt you to also install the Toppa Plugins Libraries for WordPress (http://wp.siegelslanding.com/wp-admin/plugin-install.php?tab=plugin-information&plugin=toppa-plugin-libraries-for-wordpress)
- Click that link and it will install this plug-in for you. Be sure to activate the plug-in, as well as the Shashin plug-in
- In your WordPress dashboard, go to Tools | Shashin and click the tab for Picasa/Google+
- Enter the URL of your Picasa account and click Add Albums (it will be in the format “https://picasaweb.google.com/PICASAACCOUNT/”
- Your albums will appear shortly
- To add all albums to a post or a page, use the following code:
[ shashin type="album" size="81" crop="y" caption="y" columns="6" order="date" ]
(be sure to remove the spaces near the brackets)
