Convert .MOD video files to .MP4

My JVC video camera saves video files as .MOD format.

[b:297imfo6]Here’s how to convert these files to .MP4 format for use with iPod, Roku, etc.[/b:297imfo6]

1. Rename the file extension to .MOV (i.e., SOURCE.MOD -> SOURCE.MOV)
2. Open [b:297imfo6]DVDFab[/b:297imfo6]
3. Add the file by clicking the icon at the far right in the [b:297imfo6]Source section [/b:297imfo6]at the top (see below)
4. Select your output location in the [b:297imfo6]Target [/b:297imfo6]section
5. In the left pane, select the [b:297imfo6]iPod/iPhone [/b:297imfo6]item in the [b:297imfo6]File to Mobile [/b:297imfo6]section
6. With your file added, you should see a profile named [b:297imfo6]ipod.default [/b:297imfo6]in the [b:297imfo6]Profile [/b:297imfo6]section at the bottom.
7. Click the [b:297imfo6]Edit [/b:297imfo6]button
