Use this online tool to easily create a favicon (favorites icon) for your site. A favicon is a small, 16px x 16px image that is shown inside the browser’s location bar and bookmark menu when your site is called up. It is a good way to brand your site and increase it’s prominence in your visitor’s bookmark menu.

Web safe color chart – 216 Non dithering colors
Colors are defined using a hexadecimal notation for the combination of Red, Green, and Blue color values (RGB). The lowest value that can be given to one light source is 0 (hex #00). The highest value is 255 (hex #FF).
Just like web safe colors, you need to be aware of web safe fonts. These are fonts that are designed to be compatible across browsers, so your text will look similar.
