CrashPlan and Robocopy are both used to backup files on the DESKTOP computer. CrashPlan backs up continuously, on a regular schedule. It uses de-duplication technology.
Robocopy is used for media files (music, pictures, videos, movies) and CrashPlan is used for all other files, including email.

For quite some time TomTom devices have been shipped with no software disk, the only copy of the map is the one loaded to your device.
